Mosquito Spraying Wednesday, May 24

In preparation for Commencement, Innovative Mosquito Company will be on campus Wednesday, May 24. They are scheduled to spray an adulticide [pesticide] product called Demand CS. This treatment will provide an immediate knockdown of all active mosquitos, gnats (no-see-ums) and other biting flies in the area. Treatment will be applied towards the north end of the interior loop, starting in the northern half of Rockefeller Quad going north past the Head's house to the river.

Please stay away from the Innovative Mosquito personnel while they are actively spraying. The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes to dry. Once dry, the areas are safe to resume normal activity. These spray applications will not harm non-target organisms. Please feel free to contact the Physical Plant with any questions or concerns. Thank you.

Period Product Drive- Donation Boxes and GoFundMe

Aren't you glad you have access to period products when you need them? Many people world-wide are not as fortunate. For our senior project, we are addressing the need for sanitary period products in three different ways: (i) we are creating sustainable menstrual kits for Days For Girls International, (ii) we are collecting pads, tampons and hand sanitizer for Young Women Rising's #ProjectPeriod, and (iii) we are collecting charitable donations for PERIOD. The Menstrual Movement through a GoFundMe campaign.

How can you help?

1.  We have placed 6 donation boxes in the girls dorms on campus. Here we are collecting boxes of tampons and pads, as well as bottles of hand sanitizer.

2.  Visit our GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/periods

(All donations are gratefully accepted and no amount is too small)
