Girls basketball senior captains Chynna Bailey and Steph Jones and junior captain Sam Roy have been selected by the New England Prep School Girls Basketball Coaches Association as team members of the Western Class A All-Star team.
Throughout the season, members of the coaches association vote for talented players against whom they coach. A committee collects these tallies, and this year's results were announced on Monday.
Loomis Chaffee will host Super Sunday for girls New England prep school basketball again this year on March 8. The championship games for all classes as well as four all-star games will be played in the Loomis athetics center. Here is the all-star game schedule:

The Loomis girls varsity basketball team currently is ranked No. 4 in New England, with a 16-4 record heading into the final week of the regular season. The quarterfinal round of the New England Tournament begins on Wednesday, March 4, with the semifinals and finals to follow on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8. Tournament teams will be announced next week.
