Director of Athletics Susan Cabot announced on Wednesday, February 22, that Lauren Williams, the interim head coach of the girls varsity field hockey team this fall, has been promoted to head coach of the program.

Program Overview
Grounded in a tradition of excellence, the Loomis field hockey program has earned a reputation as one of the top prep school programs in the country. Competing in the Class A New England Prep, Western New England Prep, and Founders leagues, the Pelicans are among the top teams in these highly competitive leagues year in and year out.

Our daily training includes skill work, speed and conditioning, weight training, mindfulness, goal-setting, and nutrition for the female athlete.

The Loomis Chaffee Athletics Department hosted its annual Fall Varsity Awards on the evening of Sunday, December 4.
With the fall regular season coming to a close for sports, Loomis Chaffee has four teams taking part in New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) post-season play.
The girls varsity field hockey team defeated Kent 3-2 in overtime on Saturday, November 12, to wrap up the regular season and earn a bid to the New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) Class A field hockey championship.
