The newly established Chinese Resource Center (CRC) held a grand opening ceremony for the Loomis Chaffee community on Sunday, January 18 to showcase the center's offerings to anyone interested in learning about Chinese language and Asian culture.

The Pelicans had another commanding win this week, this time against Choate Rosemary Hall. The 70-33 victory on Wednesday followed the team's 81-30 win over the Wyverns of Kingswood Oxford on Saturday.

The much-anticipated premiere of "Where Rivers Rise and Fall," composed by David Snyder '80 in commemoration of the Loomis Chaffee Centennial, was met with resounding applause the Winter Choral Concert on Sunday, January 25.

In honor of Martin Luther King Day, Loomis Chaffee students and faculty paid tribute to Dr. King's legacy at an all-school assembly on Monday, January 19.
