The JV Basketball team met Avon Old Farm for their last game of the 2011 year. The game started with both teams playing very good defense as each team went into halftime with 12 points. The Pelicans were led by an overall team defense that kept Avon from gaining any momentum. Andrew Cowan played a great game both offensively and defensively. Much like their last game, the Pelicans found themselves down with only a few remaining seconds on the clock. Unlike their first game thought, the Pelicans were unable to complete a comeback. The Pelicans played extremely hard and look forward to getting back on the court after their winter holiday break.
