Sarah Wilson '05 went from Pelican maroon to Harvard's Crimson and now will don red, white, and blue for the United States.
Dartmouth sophomore Sarah Byrne '11 this weekend became the second player in Big Green women's lacrosse history to have consecutive games with at least four goals in the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament. The only other Dartmouth player to accomplish this feat was another LC alumna, Katieanne Christian '01.
Middlebury College freshman girls lacrosse goalie Katie Mandigo '12 helped lead the No. 3 Panthers past No.14 RPI in a NCAA Division III lacrosse regional final.
The JV Girls Hockey team focuses on developing skating and skills, and helping to prepare athletes to become better hockey players with ice time six days a week. The team looks this year to continue its tradition of success with a number of returning players, as well as some girls new to the program, and new to ice hockey. Pete Gwyn returns as Head Coach, and Kevin Henderson as the assistant coach; one of the longest tenured duo of JV Girls hockey coaches in New England, and Joe Neary will continue to work with the team as the skating coordinator. The schedule consists of traditional Founders League opponents, as well as a mix of local travel teams and high schools. At the JV level we try to instill a passion for the game of hockey and a strong work ethic, to win every practice while honing our skills and having fun.
