Artist Biography
Lynn Koble is a multimedia artist whose work incorporates sculptural form, interactivity and sound. She has exhibited her work at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Venetia Kapernekas Gallery and Exit Art in New York, Braunstein/Quay Gallery in San Francisco, The Wolfsonian Museum and Art Miami in Miami, and the Islington Arts Factory in London.
She has been awarded fellowships from Socrates Sculpture Park, the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, Sculpture Space, the Djerassi Program, Harvestworks Digital Media Arts Center, PS122, the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and the Houston Museum of Fine Art’s Core Program. Her work is in the collection of the Zimmerli Art Museum, as well as numerous private collections. Koble received an MFA from Rutgers University and a BFA from Alfred University. She lives and works in New York City.
