Loomis Chaffee Annual Fund
My Pelican Tale — Evan Scheuer '76
The excellence and opportunity that distinguish a Loomis Chaffee education would not be possible without you. Alumni, parents, and friends who make giving to the Annual Fund a priority recognize both the impact of their gifts and the value of their participation. The Annual Fund, which provides eight percent of the school’s operating budget, ensures that Loomis can develop new academic initiatives; equip students with the resources they need for the classrooms, playing fields, art studios, and performance halls; maintain our campus; enhance professional development opportunities for outstanding faculty; and attract and enroll the best students regardless of their financial means.
Evan Scheuer ’76 is a regular donor to the Loomis Chaffee Annual Fund. Learn more about his Pelican Tale and consider joining him as we work together to make Loomis Chaffee an ever stronger school for today’s students.
Our goal for the 2013-14 Annual Fund is to raise $3.6 million dollars. We also seek to increase participation in the fund across all constituencies. Annual giving by a high number of alumni, parents, and friends communicates a strong level of satisfaction with the school. This means your gift, no matter the amount, will make a difference because participation matters to prospective families, as well as the foundations we ask to invest in the school.
