Student Life
To be a Loomis Chaffee student is to participate in incredible classes and activities with students from across the country and around the world. You might decide to try a new musical instrument; take a community service trip to India with twelve other students and faculty; learn to skate; become fluent in a new language; master calculus; or join in a class or dorm activity with a group of friends. No matter what you do, your life at Loomis will be vibrant, challenging, and … well … fun!
A typical day at Loomis begins with breakfast, followed by classes at 8:30 (classes are held every other Saturday). After classes, students participate in sports, community service or other activities designed to bring out their "best selves." Evenings include community dinners, study hall, meetings with advisors, or time with friends.
It's great to be a Pelican!
