The JV Girls’ Soccer Team carries a lot of talent as part of one of the top soccer programs in New England. With a busy fall schedule, the girls look to develop their skills through training and competition, aspiring to become a member of the varsity squad during their time at Loomis.
This year’s team is led by a talented group of returners who are showing the newcomers what it means to be a part of a Loomis Chaffee team, and more specifically what it means to be a part of the Loomis Chaffee soccer program; a long tradition of excellence all the way from Varsity to Thirds. The new players on the team have fit in incredibly well so far and have quickly developed the work ethic and attitude that is needed to play Loomis Chaffee athletics.
The goals for the season are to develop players and their individual skills, but most importantly to play as a team, working together and improving each day. The schedule allows ample time for the team to reach their goals, with games every Wednesday and Saturday and practice every day in between. This year’s team is coached by Maggie Kennedy and Jake Leyden.
