 Michelle Winkler '08 has been honored with selection to the 2009-10 National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar team as announced by the NGCA. Michelle is a sport management major at Xavier University where she is also a member of the Xavier University women's golf team and honored with the prestigious accolade.
Loomis Chaffee Alumna Jennifer Chung '08 was recently named Scholar All-American by Swim Coaches Association.
 For Cody Rosen ’08, June 26 started out like any other Saturday in the summer. The Clarkson University hockey player, who recently completed his freshman year, was sitting around the house watching World Cup soccer on television. However, what happened next was an unexpected surprise for the young goaltender from Ontario, Canada.

Event Recap: Loomis was defeated by a very deep Taft team today 0-7. Although Taft was the clear winner in this match, many of Loomis's players performed very well and made their respective opponents work hard for a victory. At the number 4 position, senior Rod Maier had the most notable performance of the match in his 5 game loss. Rod went up 2-1 in games, playing some of the best squash he has played all season, but he suffered from leg cramps in the 4th and 5th games, which significantly impaired his performance. Taft's Max Frew capitalized on this opportunity and played very well to close out the match in 5 games. Also of note, both Teddy Black (Senior, #2) and Noah Blumenthal (Freshman, #7) won 7 points in each of their first two games, and played solid squash. The scores from today's match are as follows:
