Boys Soccer Clinches Founders League Title with Win Over Kent

The boys soccer team won its second consecutive Founders League title and its first regular-season Class A Western New England Championship since 2014 with a 7-0 win over Kent on Saturday, November 10.

On a night devoted to the senior class, Loomis got outstanding performances from every one of its 13 senior field players, several of whom contributed to the scoring. Michael Suski chipped in two goals, Brady Trenchard added one, and Lucas Scheuer scored the game's final goal with a left-footed strike. In addition to these senior scorers, two sophomores added to the score line, with Nick Bellak scoring two goals and Eamon Moylan tallying the first goal of his career.

The Pelicans finished the regular season undefeated on their home turf and riding an eight-game unbeaten streak into the New England Prep School Athletics Conference Class A Tournament, where they will take on Northfield Mount Hermon in a rematch of their season opener, which the Pelicans won 2-1. The Pelicans, with a regular-season record of 14-2-2, are the No. 3 seed in the tournament. NMH is the No. 6 seed. The game will take place on Pratt Field at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14.
