The Katharine Brush Library’s mission is to provide comprehensive, patron-centered services, facilities and collections in a comfortable, inclusive environment. By supporting the community’s research needs and teaching a comprehensive, patron-centered information literacy curriculum, library faculty and staff advance the School’s mission to prepare students for higher education and lifelong learning. Through its emphasis on cultivating critical thinking skills and a life of intellectual inquiry, the Library upholds The Loomis Chaffee School’s charge to inspire in students “a commitment to the best self and the common good.”
