Harrison Shure

Associate Director 

Spending his younger years in the U.K. before moving to Charlottesville, VA, Harrison Shure earned his BA in History at the University of Virginia before coming to the Island in the fall of 2014. Harrison chairs the History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies department, and currently teaches CL U.S. History, along with a couple senior seminars. Amongst his other roles on the Island, Harrison lives in Carter Hall with his dogs, Nala and Bruiser, and is the Head Coach of the Equestrian team. He looks forward to traveling again soon, and enjoys working out, watching sports, and reading.
