Kravis Scholars Program

Henry R. Kravis ’63, an American business leader and Loomis alumnus, created the Kravis Scholars program to provide opportunities for students with significant financial need from culturally, geographically, and ethnically under-represented backgrounds. Students who apply for financial aid and demonstrate leadership potential, consistent academic achievement, and seek to serve as influential leaders in their communities qualify for consideration.

In addition to a competitive need-based financial aid grants for those who qualify, each Kravis Scholar receives:

  • a fully funded pre-Loomis summer enrichment experience;
  • a travel grant for overseas travel;
  • a laptop computer;
  • and access to a mentoring program providing quality support throughout his/her time at Loomis and beyond.
