Jennifer is Loomis Chaffee’s Visual Art Department chair, curator and director of the Mercy Gallery, and a Nichols Fellow in Art. According to her statement, Jennifer’s work is “a collection of ceramic sculptures using humor and satirical narratives to challenge the viewer’s perspectives on constructions of identity and societal norms.”

The art exhibited in “Recent Work” is inspired by Mark’s ongoing interest in still-life painting and by the landscapes and vistas of the school’s campus, where he resides with his family. Mark teaches drawing and printmaking and is director of the Adolf and Virginia Dehn Visiting Artist Program at Loomis Chaffee.

Concurrently, an exhibition of student artwork will be presented in the Barnes and Wilde Galleries.
