The boys varsity golf team defeated Kingswood Oxford 213-226 and the Frederick Gunn School 213-227 on Monday, April 25, in the Pelicans’ second road match of the season.
The boys arrived at the Washington Golf Club, the home course of the Frederick Gunn School, mentally prepared to take on the short but challenging course, and they executed their gameplan to perfection. They were patient with the many blind shots and dog legs on the course and displayed solid touch around the greens.
Senior captain Timmy Sullivan was the low scorer on the day for the Pelicans, posting a two-over-par 38. Here are the complete results for the Pelicans:
Senior Timmy Sullivan – 38
Freshman Ryan Wang – 42
Senior Braidon Fitzpatrick – 42
Sophomore Ryan Che – 44
Junior Charlie Chen – 47
Sophomore Chris Chun – 50
