The boys varsity golf team shot a season-best 202 on Wednesday, May 4, to defeat Cushing Academy and Wilbraham & Monson Academy at Greathorse Country Club in Hampden, Mass.

Cushing shot a team score of 208, and Wilbraham shot 238 on the day.

On the beautiful, lush, and well-kept course, the Pelican took full advantage of the wet weather and soft greens as their approach shots were terrific all day and they managed to roll in several big putts.

Freshman Ryan Wang shot a one-over-par 37, earning him the medalist spot on the day. Closely behind him were teammates sophomore Ryan Che and senior Braidon Fitzpatrick, who both shot 38.

With the two victories, the team moves to seven wins and seven losses on the year. The final scores of all the players are listed below.
