A familiar and much-anticipated tradition returned to the ice on Tuesday, February 17, as the JV girls ice hockey team faced off against faculty for the eighth consecutive year. This year’s contest featured the full JV roster skating alongside 14 faculty members. 

“The girls look forward to this game every year,” reflected head coach Hannah Insuik. “They know that it is fun and low stakes, but it is also high-level hockey, and they get to challenge themselves. There is nothing like seeing your English teacher — that you didn’t even know played hockey — suit up and compete with you. These are the epitome of boarding school moments.” 

As the tradition continues, the game remains a highlight of the season for both players and faculty, with anticipation already building for next year’s rematch.
