The girls varsity golf team opened the season with a 4-1 win against Westminster at Tumble Brook Country Club on Wednesday, April 13.
Senior captain Caleigh Noonan and junior Daisy Xu got the team off to a great start, winning their matches in decisive fashion. Noonan closed out her opponent on the seventh hole, and Daisy captured her win on the eighth hole.
Junior captain Jamie Zou and sophomore Hannah Lund also played well, keeping the ball in the fairway on every hole and playing with patience on and around the greens.
Up next, the girls host Hotchkiss at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, at Tumble Brook Country Club.
