The postseason has arrived for several Loomis Chaffee spring teams, with multiple Pelican programs earning New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) tournament berths and home playoff games this weekend. All opening-round contests will take place on Saturday, May 16. 

Softball earned the No. 2 seed in the NEPSAC Class A Tournament and will host No. 3 Westminster at 2:30 p.m. in a quarterfinal matchup. 

Girls varsity tennis secured the No. 7 seed in NEPSAC Class A and will travel to No. 2 Hotchkiss for a 10 a.m. opening-round match. 

Both girls and boys track and field will compete at the Division I New England Prep School Track Association Championships hosted by Choate Rosemary Hall. 

No. 1 girls lacrosse, No. 2 boys lacrosse, and No.2 baseball are all scheduled to host Taft in postseason play. Girls lacrosse plays at 2:30 p.m. on the Upper Turf, baseball begins at 3 p.m. on Sellars Field, and boys lacrosse starts at 4:15 p.m. on Pratt Field.
