On Wednesday, November 9, 20 student athletes in the Class of 2023 put pen to paper and made official their commitments to play Division I sports in college.
Each year, high school athletes recruited to play sports at Division I schools sign National Letters of Intent with the institutions they plan to attend after graduating, and this fall members of the Loomis Chaffee baseball, boys and girls basketball, girls ice hockey, boys and girls lacrosse, and boys and girls soccer teams took this step. The athletes include:
Phin Scott – College of William & Mary baseball
Chandler Coe – Texas Tech University baseball
Alex Tawa – University of Delaware baseball
Aidan Healy – U.S. Naval Academy baseball
John LaFleur – College of the Holy Cross baseball
Carys Baker – Virginia Tech women’s basketball
Jordan Stiemke – Loyola University Maryland men’s basketball
Maggie Johnson – Princeton University women’s ice hockey
Hamilton Doster – Dartmouth College women’s ice hockey
Annie Sun – Harvard University women’s ice hockey
Maggie Bankowski – University of Pennsylvania women’s lacrosse
Kaitlin Flynn – Youngstown State University women’s lacrosse
Joost de Koning – Harvard University men’s lacrosse
Anthony Koehler – Brown University men’s lacrosse
Colin Sim – Marquette University men’s lacrosse
Matt Shepard – Bucknell University men’s lacrosse
Grace Johnson – University of Maine women’s soccer
Sebastian Pliszka – Boston College men’s soccer
Austin Bush – University of New Hampshire men’s soccer
Kieran Chandler – University of Connecticut men’s soccer
