Girls Hockey Alum Featured on College Hockey Talk Podcast


The podcast College Hockey Talk on November 29 featured an interview with Paige Capistran ’16, former captain of the Northeastern women’s ice hockey team and now a professional draft pick of the Boston Pride.

Paige sat down with the host of the podcast to discuss her hockey career so far. They discussed Paige’s time at Northeastern, which included three Hockey East Championships and a Beanpot Championship, as well as her experience at Loomis Chaffee. Paige spoke about how Loomis head coach Liz Leyden and the girls ice hockey program helped prepare her for the next level.

At Loomis, Paige lettered in ice hockey, cross country, and softball. On the ice, she helped the Pelicans reach the Division 1 New England Prep School Athletic Conference championship game in 2016. She also named to the 2015–16 New England Prep Girls Second Team.
