Hamilton College senior Michaela Giuttari ’16 and Middlebury College junior Madie Leidt ’17 both earned 2019–20 CCM Hockey/American Hockey Coaches Association All-American honors on March 25. Giuttari was named to the East First Team, and Leidt was named to the East Second Team.
In 26 games this year Giuttari recorded 25 points, ranking sixth in the country in points per game as a defender. She also recorded four game-winning goals this year and was named to the All-New England Small School Athletic Conference (NESCAC) First Team. She was named to the All-NESCAC Second Team as a sophomore.
Guittari has had a stellar athletics career at Hamilton. In addition to her ice hockey success, she earned All-American honors in field hockey player in 2017 and 2018. Read more about her impressive career on the Hamilton College athletics website.
Leidt earned the Second Team nod after being named this year’s NESCAC Player of the Year. She is a two-time all-conference nominee and led the league in points this year. Even more impressive, Leidt was one of seven finalists for the Laura Hurd Award, the American Hockey Coaches Association player-of-the-year award in women’s ice hockey.
