Jess Schryver ’19, a junior on the Quinnipiac University women’s ice hockey team, was recently featured in The Hartford Courant in a story about her collegiate hockey career.
Jess transferred from Northeastern University to Quinnipiac University after her freshman season and since arriving on campus in Hamden has thrived on and off the ice. She ranks fifth on the team in points, with three goals and 10 assists. The Bobcats are ranked third in the nation in Division I women’s ice hockey.
At Loomis, Jess played on the varsity ice hockey team all four years, finishing her Loomis career with 159 total points. She earned Second Team All-New England Prep School Athletic Council as a sophomore and First Team All-NEPSAC in her junior and senior years. Jess also captained the team in her senior season.
