Annual Fall Varsity Athletics Awards

The Loomis Athletics Department hosted the annual Fall Varsity Awards ceremony on Sunday night, December 2.

Friends and families, as well as the fall varsity teams and their coaches, gathered in the Hubbard Performance Hall to honor the teams and their players on a great season.

Loomis won a New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) Class A championship in girls volleyball as well as Founders League championships in boys soccer, boys cross country, and girls volleyball. The girls soccer team competed in its third straight NEPSAC championship game, and the boys water polo team also advanced to the NEPSAC finals. Junior cross country runner Matt Farrell won his third straight Founders League and his second straight New England championship.

Defensive Player of the Year: Senior Michelle Fickett

Most Valuable Players: Senior Lauren Smida and junior Christina Stone

Most Valuable Player: Senior Tylon Crump

Unsung Hero: Senior Max Wechsler
