Boys and Girls Swimming Defeat Kent
The boys and girls swimming and diving teams both defeated the Kent Lions on Wednesday, January 9, the boys winning by a score of 95-83 and the girls by a score of 96-80.

In the boys competition, a first- and second-place finish in the 200 medley relay set the tone for the Pelicans. The first-place team of junior Min Jun Jung, sophomore Matt Ryckman, freshman Trent Hieber, and senior C.J. Owen and the second-place team of senior Ben Laidlaw, senior Jaden Rismay, freshman Nick Guenther, and sophomore Kai Sheng Tham both posted best times for the season thus far.

The girls also opened their meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay (freshman Jessica Wolf, freshman Eleanor Zhu, freshman Laura Brawley, and senior Faith Donegan) and never looked back.
