The girls soccer program welcomes talented veteran student athletes and newcomers alike to join our Loomis program. A perennial contender for the New England Championship and one of the top teams in the area, Loomis attracts some of the best players from around the world. Many student athletes continue their soccer careers at the next level and play at some of the top colleges and universities in the country.
Our student athletes are challenged on a daily basis to improve individual and team skills. Our coaches believe in camaraderie to foster the ability of players, creating a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Loomis girls soccer players bring out the best and showcase the greatest aspects of what a Loomis experience is all about: excellent students, hard-working and motivated student-athletes, and caring people. Head coach Carey O’Brien has played at the collegiate and professional level and guides the program’s success.

The girls soccer team won the Class A New England prep school championship on November 19, with a 3-2 win over Buckingham Browne & Nichols in the title game, played in the Meadows.
Loomis hosted the Greenwich Academy Gators on Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the Class A New England Prep School Athletic Council Tournament and dominated the game, winning 6-0 and advancing to the tournament semifinals at home on Saturday.
