Girls Varsity Volleyball

Jeff Dyreson took over the helm of the Loomis Chaffee volleyball program in 2001. Under Jeff’s leadership the volleyball program has seen tremendous success. In 2015, the team went 20-2, was seeded first in the New England Tournament for the first time in program history, and advanced to the finals of the tournament. In 2018, the team won the Class A New England championship. Jeff has seen many of his players continue their careers at the collegiate level. Outside of the season, Jeff is active with the local volleyball club Husky Volleyball, directs camps during the summer at Loomis, and still finds time to play in local leagues and tournaments.

Jeff grew up in Madison, Wis., where he was an all-conference selection in high school and all-Big Ten selection at University of Wisconsin, playing the setter position. His coaching career has included freshman, junior varsity, and high-performance club teams with both boys and girls. He loves the game of volleyball and firmly believes in the strength of character it helps to promote both within oneself and among others. Jeff’s favorite memory as a player was playing in the Big Ten Championships his junior and senior years in college.

Aside from volleyball Jeff is an avid golfer and die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, not to mention a Wisconsin Badger fan, as it is his alma matter. Jeff lives on Faculty Row with his wife and two sons, Carter and Tate, and is an affiliate of Taylor Hall.
