Girls Varsity Golf
The girls golf program is built on character and prides itself on skill development, mental preparation, knowledge of the rules, and fostering a love of the game. Our players have a passion for golf and strive to realize their academic, athletic, and personal potential. The strong caliber of players in our program make daily practices and matches competitive, raising the collective level of play.
Each spring, our team plays nine-hole matches against other prep schools around Western New England and competes in separate Founders League and New England championship events. We play a competitive schedule at outstanding golf venues in New England, including the Cranwell Resort, Greenwich Country Club, Roundhill Country Club, Watertown Golf Club, and our home course, Tumble Brook Country Club, a remarkable 27-hole private golf club in Bloomfield, Conn.
In addition to the privilege of playing at Tumble Brook, Loomis Chaffee has an indoor practice facility, featuring a Trackman launch monitor and simulator, for use during periods of inclement weather to hone fundamental skills.
