The history and success of Loomis’ boys lacrosse program is well known throughout New England due in part to the program’s founder and head coach for 49 years, Jim Wilson, who started the team in 1959. Since that time the lacrosse program evolved into one of the strongest high school teams in the country. With many Founders League Championships and more importantly, mentoring many young men in our program, Loomis has produced hundreds of college lacrosse players over the years, including Major League Lacrosse Players Drew Snider (Maryland), Ari Sussman (Dartmouth), Charlie Streep (UVA), and Tyler Casertrano (Yale). Playing in the reputable NE West 1 Lacrosse League, Loomis athletes compete at the highest level in lacrosse. Loomis is looking for student-athletes who will be leaders in the classroom, on campus, and on the playing fields.
