Loomis is particularly proud of guys who began their track careers at Loomis and find success here and in college. Recent alumni include a three-time Division I All-America distance runner at Princeton, a Division I Ivy League sprinter at Dartmouth, two Division III All-America distance runners (at Williams and Bates), a Division III league champion sprinter also playing collegiate soccer, a triple jumper and an 800 meter runner at Brown University, an Ivy League champion in the weights at Cornell, and a Division III NESCAC multiple event champion who also earned Most Outstanding Athlete of the NESCAC Championship Meet while at Wesleyan.
Our coaches regularly attend track conferences to adjust the way we coach. Loomis boasts an eight-lane track with four jumping pits. We hope to welcome you to the Island.
