The Athletics Department hosted the annual Winter Varsity Awards ceremony on Sunday, March 24, as the winter varsity teams and their coaches, as well as parents and other supporters, gathered in the Hubbard Performance Hall to honor the teams and their players on a great season.

Known for our excellence in girls swimming and diving, Loomis consistently finishes among the top schools at the Division I New England Championships, where the Pelicans have captured the title seven times. The program also has won the Western New England Championships 18 times and has produced more than 30 swimming and diving All-Americans and qualifiers. Loomis has won the Founders League Championship 13 times.
We emphasize individualized training and instruction, focusing on improvement throughout the season. Our team is composed of hard-working swimmers and divers for whom individual goals and improvement are as important as team goals. Our coaching staff has extensive experience coaching at all ability levels, assuring ample instruction and individualized attention in all aspects of training.

It is tournament time on the Island! Five varsity teams will compete in New England Prep School Athletics Conference post-season action this week.
The boys and girls swimming and diving teams both defeated the Kent Lions on Wednesday, January 9, the boys winning by a score of 95-83 and the girls by a score of 96-80.
In her first collegiate meet last weekend, Boston College freshman Ashleigh Scott '18 helped set two meet records and placed among the top three in all five of her events.
In her senior year as a member of the girls swimming and diving team at Loomis, Madison Perry '17 dominated the one-meter dive. A year later she is dominating once again, this time in the Ivy League at the University of Pennsylvania.
