Loomis wrestling prides itself on being a “complete” program committed to attracting talented student-athletes and developing successful wrestlers within the program. The team continues to grow, with our brightest success stories coming from athletes who began to wrestle only when they arrived on the Island.
At all levels, we emphasize the fundamentals: teamwork, discipline, and intensity. A commitment to attacking wrestling, a strong culture of respect, and a lot of hard work help us to maintain a challenging schedule. We host the LC Duals in December, match up against the best teams in New England, and finish in February at the National Prep Tournament in Pennsylvania.
Our wrestlers also are stand-outs in football, soccer, and theater, just to name a few, as we are dedicated to producing quality student-athletes who go on to participate at some of the best colleges in the country. We look forward to welcoming you into our program.
It is tournament time on the Island! Five varsity teams will compete in New England Prep School Athletics Conference post-season action this week.
