Liana Hinds '12 Signs Pro Contract with Swedish Soccer Team

Liana Hinds '12 recently signed a professional contract with Sundsvalls DFF, a professional soccer team in Sweden.

While a student at Loomis, Hinds earned All-State honors her junior and senior year and All-New England honors her senior year. She was also the captain and the Most Valuable Player as a senior.

As a freshman and sophomore in high school, Hinds also played for the Trinidad National Team and recorded goals in the 2010 U-17 Women's World Cup.

After graduating from Loomis, Hinds played four years of collegiate soccer at the University of Connecticut, and she played for the Trinidad and Tobago national team in the CONCACAF U-20 Championships. Hinds graduated from UConn in 2015, and since then has been playing in the United Women's Soccer league with the New England Mutiny and the Connecticut Fusion, as well the Trinidad and Tobago Women's Soccer National team.

Hinds will join her team in Sweden in March.
