UPDATE This Week's Theme is Relaxation
This week's reflection: Breathing is something so simple that we don't usually think about it on a daily basis. Sometimes, taking some time for ourselves might seem impossible due to our extremely busy lives. Just as important as it is to work and be active, taking a break has multiple benefits for our health. This week we will be focusing on the act of relaxing, letting the tension of your body wear off, and remember to breathe.
"Your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer." — William Burroughs
Sometimes we are just so focus in finding answers that it can cloud our minds and frustrates us even more. Take a deep breath and let your mind have a break. When you come back, the answer might just be in front of you.
We challenge you to have faith in your mind. If that math problem has been bugging you for way too long, give it a break. With your hard work and time off, the next time you work on it might be easier.
Did you know? According to the Mayo Clinic, people who manage stress tend to live longer and healthier lives.
