September 25, 2019 Every year, the Ten Schools Admissions Organization (TSAO) travels across the country and the world introducing families to the idea of boarding school. These past two weeks have taken me from the DC metro area to Denver and Chicago with my TSAO colleagues. One of the main themes of our presentation is the power of lifelong friendships that are created in boarding schools. Whether it's Harry, Ron, and Hermione or our own Loren and Simone featured in this issue's podcast, building friendships with those both similar to and different from yourself is a hallmark of our communities. Loomis Chaffee's annual Sophomore Retreat is another fun way those bonds are forged. We hope this issue will help you to imagine yourself Exploring Loomis with friends from all over the country and the world.
