Miles Morgan earned both a B.A. in Comparative Literature and an M.A. in Humanities from The University of Chicago. He also studied English and Russian at Trinity College, Dublin. Miles spent his postgraduate year as the Annenberg Fellow at Eton College in the original Windsor, where he taught English and Drama and worked with the Head of Inclusion. He currently teaches English to freshmen, sophomores, and seniors at Loomis and directed the first Stage II production (Twelve Angry Men) last year. Using his training as a comparatist and cultural historian, Miles encourages his students to understand literature and writing as vehicles for empathy and exposure to new perspectives. He lives on campus and is an affiliate in Taylor Hall. When away from campus, Miles spends much of his time travelling and exploring the culinary and literary offerings of foreign countries.
