Program Overview
Loomis girls hockey has a long and proud tradition of excellence. In the years since girls first started playing in the New England prep schools, the league has grown tremendously, and Loomis plays in what is now one of the top girls high school hockey leagues in the country. The team is highly competitive in New England Division I, regularly playing the most challenging schedule in the league and consistently finishing in the top tier of the division.
Our coaching staff works hard to combine individual skill development with systematic team play in daily practice. In addition to pushing each player to become a better hockey player, we emphasize teamwork, passion, commitment, communication, character, and excellence — in the classroom, on the ice, and in life. By creating an atmosphere that supports and challenges the student athletes, we prepare players to succeed both at Loomis and at the next level.
