Leadership Giving Society
The Loomis Chaffee Leadership Giving Society advances the school’s mission of developing our students in mind, body, and spirit through rigorous academic programs, an inclusive community, and an emphasis on engaged citizenship.
The society is comprised of alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends who contribute $1,000 or more each year to the Annual Fund. In 2021–22, gifts from leadership donors made up 90 percent of total dollars of the Annual Fund.
We thank society members for their generous support in 2021–22 and highlight a few examples of how this support has made an impact.
- This year, Loomis Chaffee has awarded $12 million in financial aid and grants to 33 percent of our student body.
- Last year, 70 college and advanced level courses served 394 students advancing their intellectual curiosity and preparing them for success beyond the Island while allowing them to pursue academic areas of interest in more depth.
- Over the last ten years, our athletics teams have won 77 Founders League titles.
- Students are inspired in dance, theater, music, and visual arts by instructors who are accomplished professionals in their own right.
