Women's Leadership Circle

A Community of Women, a Legacy of Leadership
A little more than 50 years ago, the Loomis and Chaffee schools came together on the Island, a merger made complete with the addition of female boarders in 1976. That milestone, fueled by the pioneering spirit of the newly merged school’s female students and faculty, helped transform Loomis Chaffee into the vibrant, coeducational community we know today.
Launching in 2026, the Women’s Leadership Circle invites 50 alumnae to make gifts of $100,000 or more to causes that resonate with their personal journeys and visions for Loomis Chaffee. Gifts may support any areas of the school that speak to donors’ values — from financial aid, faculty support, and wellness and belonging programs to the school’s current greatest need. Documented planned gifts are welcome.
Your gift will empower current and future students and educators alike — and affirm your place in a legacy of philanthropic leadership at Loomis Chaffee. Membership in the Circle ensures connection with fellow alumnae through a community designed to spark dialogue, deepen bonds, and offer ongoing opportunities to learn and lead together.
“The impact women have had and continue to have on Loomis Chaffee is remarkable. From generations past to present, your support, leadership, and vision are evident everywhere on campus and embedded in who we are today.”
