Marmer ’13 Breaks Through with Boston Bruins


The National Hockey League’s Boston Bruins have appointed Danielle Marmer ’13 as their player development and scouting assistant, the first woman to hold a coaching position with the Bruins.

Marmer ’13 will work with Player Development Coordinator Adam McQuaid, a former NHL player, “to help develop prospects throughout the entire Bruins system”, according to the Boston Bruins press conference and announcement.  

At Loomis, Danielle was a captain of the girls varsity ice hockey team as a senior, attended the USA Hockey Select-17 National Development Camp in 2011, was a three sport athlete all four years, earned the Outstanding Female Athlete Award her senior year, and was a high honors student throughout her four years on the Island.
