Loomis Chaffee students and faculty gathered in the Hubbard Music Center on Friday, May 6, for the annual English Honors Tea to recognize outstanding student writing during this academic year.
The English Honors Tea celebrates “everything that we cherish most” about reading and writing, Kate Saxton, director of Writing Initiatives and the assistant head of the English Department, said in her opening remarks.
Six students — freshman Grace Rodner, sophomore Preston McNulty Socha, juniors Nandini Ramanathan and Ella Xue, and seniors Nia Hardaway and Aidan Cooper — read from their papers, poems, and stories for the audience.
