The Loomis Chaffee girls golf team teed off well on Saturday, April 11, earning 5-0 victories over both Westminster School and Greenwich Academy. 

Competing in match play format, where players earn points by winning individual holes and matches can finish early once a lead is insurmountable, the Pelicans controlled play from start to finish across the lineup. 

Senior Olivia Manganiello led the way, going 2-0 on the day with a 4&2 win over Westminster, meaning she was four holes ahead with only two holes left to play, and a 2-up victory against Greenwich Academy. Manganiello also earned medalist honors for the day. 

Senior Charlotte Slayton followed with a 4&3 win over Westminster and a 2-up win against Greenwich Academy. Junior Iris Yan delivered two strong performances, winning 5&3 against Westminster and 2&1 against Greenwich Academy, both matches closing out before the final hole. 

Sophomore Surin Kim secured a 1-up win over Westminster and a 3&1 victory against Greenwich Academy, while sophomore Victoria Cho added two more wins with identical 4&3 results. 

In exhibition play, sophomore Minnie Vongvadhanaroj earned a 5&4 win against Westminster.
