JV Girls Hockey and Faculty Face Off in Annual Tradition

For the seventh year in a row, members of the JV girls hockey team laced up their skates for the much-anticipated faculty vs. JV game, a tradition that continues to bring the school community together. This year’s matchup saw the entire JV squad take the ice alongside 14 faculty members.

Head JV girls hockey coach Hannah Insuik reflected on the significance of the event, saying, “The girls look forward to this game every year. They know that it is fun and low stakes, but it is also high-level hockey and they get to challenge themselves. There is nothing like seeing your English teacher, that you didn’t even know played hockey, suit up and compete with you. These are the epitome of boarding school moments.”

As this beloved tradition continues, both players and faculty look forward to next year’s rematch.
