Lindsay Stepnowski Earns New England Hockey Player of the Year
Junior Lindsay Stepnowski received several honors for her stellar play this winter as a member of Loomis’ New England championship girls varsity hockey team.
Lindsay was named the New England Prep School Athletic Conference Girls Hockey Player of the Year, earned the John Cooper Most Valuable Player award during the Elite 8 Tournament, and received All-New England recognition. Over the course of 27 games, Lindsay tallied an impressive 25 goals and 19 assists for a total of 44 points. Her scoring included three shorthanded goals and four on the power play. In the playoffs, she notched six points — five of them goals — in just three games.
Juniors Megan Hosman and Annie Schwarz also earned All-New England honors for their outstanding seasons.
Seniors Catie Collins and Chloe Obser were recognized with All-New England Honorable Mentions.
