On Wednesday, April 8, girls varsity lacrosse picked up a big Founders League win over Choate Rosemary Hall, coming back from three- and four-goal deficits at various stages of the game to win 12-10. It was the team’s fourth straight league win. 

Senior goalie Jordyn Hill-Bucktooth made a number of key saves to keep things within reach as the team worked its way back. 

Freshman Quinn Moylan led the offense with four goals while sophomore Noella Yanni and Junior Anastasia Terrance each had three. Junior Anna Sigrist added two. 

Defensively, freshman Riley Dowe, senior captain Kathryn Smith, junior Molly Wiggenhauser, and sophomore Aliyah Murphy anchored a strong unit that helped shut down Choate’s attack down the stretch. Murphy also made an impact on draw controls, along with Smith and junior Laurel Johnson. 

Loomis is back in action Saturday, April 11, hosting Miss Porter’s at 1 p.m. on the Upper Turf.
