The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women’s ice hockey tournament semifinals take place this weekend, March 3–4, at Amherst College, and nine graduates of Loomis Chaffee will be competing for their teams in hopes of taking home the title.
The first game on Friday, featuring No. 3-ranked Colby College against No. 2-ranked Hamilton College, pits Grace Caligiuri ’21 of Colby against Bobbi Roca ’20, Abby Kuhns ’19, Maddie Hong ’19, and Sophia Testa ’22 of Hamilton. Their matchup will take place at 3:30 p.m. at Orr Rink on the Amherst campus.
The second game of the day, featuring No. 4 Middlebury College against No. 1 Amherst College, will feature Zoe Pincelli ’22, Elinor Keehn ’21, and Selia Coady ’21, members of the Middlebury team, against Avery Flynn ’19 and the Amherst College Mammoths, the top seed in the tournament and the fourth-ranked Division III team in the country.
The winner of the semifinal matchups will face off in the championship on Saturday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m. at Orr Rink. All three games will be livestreamed for those who can’t attend. Visit the NESCAC Women’s Ice Hockey Championship website for all tournament information.
