Both the girls and boys cross country teams dominated their home meets, sweeping their competition. The girls defeated Taft, Hotchkiss, and Northfield Mount Hermon while the boys earned wins over Hotchkiss, Avon Old Farms, and Taft, continuing their impressive early-season momentum.

Field hockey impressed with a pair of victories, as varsity topped Westminster 6-1 and JV battled to a 1-0 win. Girls soccer also continued its strong start, with varsity earning a 3-1 victory over Westminster and the JV and III teams adding 3-0 and 2-0 wins to complete the program sweep.

Volleyball was perfect on the day, with varsity and JV each earning 3-0 wins over Phillips Exeter Academy. The III team followed suit, notching two straight 2-0 victories against Northfield Mount Hermon and Stoneleigh-Burnham.

Varsity football capped off the day by defeating Williston Northampton 30–23 in front of a lively home crowd. On Sunday, October 5, the equestrian team also had a phenomenal start to its regular season, earning Reserve Champion honors at Folly Farm’s Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) show and finishing ahead of Ethel Walker and three other competing teams.
