Huang ’12 Earns First Prize in Major International Competition

Sirena Huang ’12 won the Gold Medal at the prestigious International Violin Competition of Indianapolis this weekend. 

For winning this major competition, Sirena will receive a $75,000 cash prize, a Carnegie Hall recital, a professional CD recording and website, and four years of career management, guidance, and international concert engagements.

A graduate of the Juilliard School and Yale University, Sirena is a former major prize winner at the Elmar Oliveira Singapore and Shanghai Isaac Stern International Violin Competition.
